Clan Information – Terumi clan members are able to utilize Futton (Boil Release). This bloodline combines water and fire.

Clan History – Boil Release has its origins in Kiri, as Terumi Mei, the fifth Mizukage, belonged to this bloodline. Whether the clan once held another name is irrelevant because subsequent generations credited Mei for "reviving" the bloodline, mostly by repairing their relationship with the village.

Description: Futton is the point of which all other clan techniques spawn from, it is the infusing of water with fire chakra, resulting in vapors. There are many levels of mastery over the manipulation that can be achieved:

D-ranked: 1 Skill Point in Bloodline, allows for a Terumi clan member to use D-ranked Futton jutsu.

C-ranked: 2 Skill Points in Bloodline, this technique allows for the use of C-ranked Futton jutsu.

B-ranked: 3 Skill Points in Bloodline, allows for B-ranked Futton techniques.

A-Rank: 4 Skill Points in Bloodline, allows for A-ranked Futton techniques.

S-rank: 5 Skill Points in Bloodline, allows for S-ranked Futton techniques.

Description: After forming a few handsigns, the user is able to send their Boil Release chakra into a water jutsu, heating the water. It takes achievement of each rank of this jutsu to boil differently ranked water jutsu, but it basically adds heat damage to the Suiton.

Description: After forming a few handsigns, the user is able to release vapor from the pores in their skin, essentially creating a corrosive chakra cloak. By touching a person while using this jutsu, they are able to cause burns, so it can be used as defense against taijutsu (attacker gets hurt) or to enhance taijutsu. It lasts four posts before needing to be recast.
