Leveling Up and Learning Jutsu

Leveling Up

Every word you type as your character is equivalent to one experience point. In order to level up, you must attain a total of 1000 experience points for every level.

For every level you gain, you earn 1 stat point and for every 5 levels you gain, you earn 1 skill point.

Learning Jutsu

In order to learn a jutsu, you must first have either the scroll for the technique or a teacher who knows it. Once this is met, you must rp your character attempting to learn the technique. Every word you type goes towards "Jutsu points" as well as experience points. NOTE: The elemental jutsu you can learn are limited to your affinity.

Jutsu Points required to learn a technique:
D – 2100
C – 4200
B – 8400
A – 16,800
S – 33,400

Elemental Affinity = Half cost. Teacher = Half Cost. Upgrade = Half cost.

Scrolls can be attained a variety of ways including through completing missions or buying scrolls. The prices of scrolls range from location to location.

Special Cases

Rasengan and Chidori cannot be started with and can only be learned by Jounins. You cannot learn both techniques and are limited to learning one or the other. Variations of these techniques are limited to "Kage level" Ninja.

Banned Jutsu

The Jutsus below cannot be learned/used under any circumstances:

1. Flying Thunder God (Teleportation Variations)
2. Kuchiyose: Edo Tensei
3. Rinnegan
4. Human Puppet
5. Performance of 100 Puppets
6. Kirin
7. C-4 Garuda
8. Ultimate Art: Final Explosion
9. Mind Reading

Genjutsu

In rp situations, if a target is caught under a genjutsu, the number of posts the target remains under the genjutsu is dependent upon intelligence.

Formula:

(Targets Intelligence - User's Intelligence) divided by 3 = Number of posts target remains under genjutsu

At the end of the last post, the target may escape the genjutsu. Certain Achievements such as Sense may reduce the number of posts required to escape the genjutsu. Also, a target can only be caught under one genjutsu at a time.
